Responsibilities
- Technical Documentation: Develop, review, and approve maintenance procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation for A400M MRO activities
- Technical Support: Support MRO facilities and operators in troubleshooting complex aircraft system malfunctions and structural issues
- Data Analysis: Analyze aircraft defect reports, maintenance data, and operational feedback to identify trends and propose corrective actions
- Incident Investigation: Participate in root cause analysis of technical incidents and contribute to the development of preventative measures
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with design authorities, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements
- Modification Implementation: Evaluate and implement modifications, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives relevant to the A400M fleet
- Process Optimization: Contribute to the development and improvement of MRO processes, tools, and best practices
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of professional experience in MRO, airworthiness, or design support within the aerospace industry, preferably with military transport aircraft
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and propulsion; specific experience with the A400M is advantageous
- Strong understanding of EASA/LBA or equivalent military airworthiness regulations and maintenance philosophy (DEMAR145)
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and repair instructions
- Business fluent English (at least C1); good knowledge of German is advantageous
- Analytical skills, teamwork, and a customer-oriented mindset
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
