Responsibilities
- Acoustic and Vibration Testing: define, perform, and evaluate tests in flight, on ground, and in laboratory
- System Qualification: support the qualification of aircraft systems to mechanical environments including vibration, shock, and acoustics
- Mechanical Requirements: define requirements for system installation on aircraft
- Solution Development: develop passive and active noise and vibration control solutions for existing and future aircraft
- Numerical Modeling: develop and validate numerical models related to noise generation, propagation, and structural dynamic response
- Innovative Aircraft Development: develop competitive, innovative, and safe air vehicles fulfilling noise and vibration requirements
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Aerospace Engineering or Acoustics and Vibration (at least Master's or Diplom)
- Several years of professional experience in aerospace engineering
- Experience in the field of acoustics and vibration, as well as with structural dynamic testing and data acquisition/processing
- Proficient use of MS Office; basic knowledge of Linux; experience with Matlab
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German knowledge is a plus
- Willingness to travel (approximately once per quarter for one week)
- Teamwork skills, problem-solving ability, and independent working style
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
