Responsibilities
- Configuration Management: Act as the central point of contact for all cabin-related configuration topics (multi-ATA), ensuring aircraft configuration at modification level
- Digitalisation: Identify lean opportunities and actively support the digitalisation of configuration processes
- Customer Integration: Plan the late integration of customer-specific option requests and ensure their timely and high-quality implementation
- Product Offer Securing: Prepare and cover relevant EPAC/TDUs (product bricks) and MOD build-ups for HoV Rebuilds and the associated CDF process
- Database Monitoring: Monitor the availability and quality of all customisation modifications within the Aircraft Configuration Control (ACC) database
- Project Support: Support project and chief engineering teams in mitigating risks in new project developments and ensuring programme robustness
- Process Optimisation: Continuously participate in improving general configuration processes and tool projects
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Business Informatics (at least a Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in configuration management, ideally in the aerospace industry
- Experience in project management
- Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of detailed functions in ICC and Taksy/Gesy/Tesy; experience with Google Workspace
- Good knowledge of change management and project management; minimal knowledge of process management
- Basic knowledge in cabin design
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French is a plus
- Experience in customisation is a strong plus
- Teamwork skills, communication skills, and persuasiveness for working in transnational teams
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
