Tasks

  • Carrying out maintenance and repair work on electrical and avionic systems of the A320, A350 or A380 family
  • Diagnosis and rectification of faults in the areas of avionics, communication, navigation and avionics
  • Carrying out functional checks and tests after maintenance work in accordance with manufacturer and aviation regulations
  • Documenting the work carried out in the maintenance documents and digital systems
  • Supporting planned and unplanned maintenance events as part of line and base maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance with aviation standards, safety guidelines and quality requirements
  • Working closely with technology, engineering and quality assurance to continuously improve maintenance processes

Qualifications

  • Completed training as an aircraft electronics technician or electronics technician for aeronautical systems with several years of professional experience
  • Regular further training in the areas of fuel tank safety, human factors and EWIS - existing, valid certificates are an advantage
  • Existing AML CAT B2 with type rating for the aircraft types A320, A350 and/or A380 required
  • MOE knowledge, familiarisation with IQ-Move, SMS Initial WBT and Composite Awareness are desirable
  • Proficient English and good German language skills
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
  • Apron driving licence and work permit for the EU (no student visa) required
