Tasks

  • Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on the Tiger and NH90 helicopter models
  • Independent assembly and disassembly activities as well as troubleshooting and fault rectification on weapon systems
  • First-level quality control and support of helicopters in flight operations, including documentation
  • Support with qualifications, demonstrations and test and development orders at home and abroad
  • Integration of components, assemblies and parts for final assembly and preparation of aircraft for delivery
  • Ensuring the safe operation of helicopters in compliance with all flight safety regulations
  • Planning and carrying out assembly and repair work in accordance with aircraft-specific procedures
  • Documentation and confirmation of the measures carried out in the production and work plan as well as handover to internal and external customers

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed training as an aircraft mechanic specialising in maintenance technology, industrial mechanic, car mechanic, mechanic or in a metalworking profession
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing, production and maintenance as well as in mechanics
  • Initial experience in aircraft and prototype construction is an advantage
  • In-depth user knowledge of MS Office and SAP as well as basic experience in working with SASPF
  • Business fluent German and English basic knowledge
  • Existing work permit for the EU (no student visa)
