Tasks

  • Carrying out maintenance and servicing work on long-haul aircraft (A350, A380)
  • Carrying out repairs, inspections and overhauls in accordance with technical regulations and maintenance guidelines
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting of aircraft mechanical and electrical systems
  • Documenting the work carried out in the maintenance log and in the corresponding systems
  • Supporting the rectification of faults and carrying out rework
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards during maintenance and repair work
  • Communicating and liaising with the relevant departments such as Technology, Engineering and Quality Assurance
  • Training and support of employees and colleagues in the area of maintenance and repair of long-haul aircraft

Qualifications

  • Completed training as an aircraft mechanic in the field of maintenance technology, production technology or comparable
  • First professional experience in line or base maintenance as well as valid AML CAT B1 with type rating for the aircraft types A320 / A350 / A380
  • Existing training courses for Fuel Tank Safety, Human Factors and EWIS would be an advantage
  • MOE knowledge, familiarisation with IQ-Move, SMS Initial WBT and Composite Awareness are desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of English and good knowledge of German
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
  • Apron driving licence and work permit for the EU (no student visa) required
