For our client Atlas Air Service AG at the Bremen and Ganderkesee locations, we are seeking an Aircraft Mechanic as Certifying Staff CAT B1.1full-time or part-time. In this role, you will combine aircraft maintenance with inspection duties, maintain high quality standards even under time pressure, and confidently represent the team to customers. Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for customer inquiries and coordination of communication between the customer and maintenance
  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on aircraft in Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance
  • Structured fault diagnosis and professional troubleshooting, including in AOG situations
  • Technical leadership in day-to-day operations: prioritization, task allocation, and support in technical clarification cases
  • Careful documentation of work performed and reporting of results in accordance with specifications
  • Issuance of the required approvals/certifications within the scope of the CAT B1.1 authorization


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive professional experience as CAT B1.1 Certifying Staff in aircraft maintenance and repair
  • Extensive experience in Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance
  • English language skills (min. B2)
  • Willingness to undertake temporary assignments abroad
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
