We are seeking an Aircraft Mechanic (Certifying Staff CAT B1/B2) for our client Atlas Air Service AG at their locations in Bremen and Ganderkesee. You combine hands-on maintenance with clear leadership, maintain professional communication with demanding customers, and ensure that line and base tasks are handled reliably. Responsibilities

  • Serving as a trustworthy and competent point of contact for customer inquiries and coordinating collaboration between Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, and internal interfaces
  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work to ensure airworthiness, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Conducting structured fault diagnosis and implementing sustainable solutions for aircraft system malfunctions
  • Technical management of the team in day-to-day operations: prioritization, task allocation, and support in resolving technical issues
  • Evaluation of technical innovations and oversight of upgrades, modifications, and improvements to the aircraft
  • Conducting inspections and issuing the necessary approvals/certifications within the scope of the CAT B1/B2 certification


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive professional experience as CAT B1/B2 Certifying Staff in maintenance and repair, ideally on the Beechcraft King Air 300 series
  • Extensive experience in line maintenance (on-site maintenance) and base maintenance (overhaul)
  • Written and spoken English proficiency (min. B2)
  • Willingness to undertake temporary assignments abroad
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
