Tasks

  • Assembly work on fuel systems and flight control units
  • Installation of metal and composite components using aircraft-specific processes such as drilling, riveting or gluing
  • Carrying out leak tests, e.g. on fuel tanks
  • Planning and execution of work steps according to technical specifications
  • Documentation and handover of components or assemblies during work
  • Collaboration with internal and external specialist departments

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic (specializing in production technology or maintenance technology) or comparable industrial training
  • Many years of professional experience in manufacturing, aircraft construction or aerospace
  • Experience in working with fiber composite materials and knowledge of classic helicopter structures and systems
  • Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts and travel for assembly assignments
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
