Responsibilities
- Integration of components and systems into metal and composite structures
- Processing of parts made of metal and fiber composite materials
- Adjustment and attachment of metallic materials and parts
- Sealing of parts for aviation according to technical specifications
- Deburring and reworking of metallic parts using hand tools
- Use of technical documentation and reading of drawings
- Quality assurance by drilling out poorly executed rivets and careful workmanship
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic, Metalworker, Automotive Mechanic, or in another metalworking trade
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing or production, ideally in aircraft construction or aerospace
- Basic knowledge of metal processing and fiber composite material processing
- Advanced application skills in MS-Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1); basic skills in English (at least A2)
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as well as to travel on business to Marignane
- Teamwork skills, careful workmanship, and a strong quality awareness
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
