For our client Lufthansa Technik AG at the Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel location, we are currently looking for several Aircraft Mechanics with CAT A License for demanding assignments in VIP line and base maintenance. Tasks

  • Removal and installation of mechanical components on aircraft (e.g. water, hydraulic or pneumatic systems)
  • Functional tests as well as troubleshooting and fault rectification on mechanical aircraft systems
  • Work on various aircraft types such as A320, A340-500, A350, B747-8/-400, B767 and B787
  • Carrying out modifications and maintenance work in the VIP line and base maintenance in accordance with quality standards
  • Coordination of technical decisions with planners and team leaders to ensure proper execution
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with teams of avionics technicians, cabin mechanics and upholsterers as part of complex maintenance projects
  • Independent certification of completed work in compliance with aviation regulations

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic (maintenance technology) or a comparable qualification, e.g. automotive mechanic
  • Several years of experience in base or line maintenance of commercial aircraft
  • Valid CAT A license (AML) required
  • Good German and English language skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visas are not sufficient) is mandatory
