Tasks
- Reviewing and sorting of construction documents and work orders
- Preparing components and assembly stations
- Inspecting and providing FEMI (Functional Equipment and Manufacturing Information)
- Drilling and countersinking according to technical drawings
- Applying sealing and bonding compounds
- Assembling subassemblies from various individual parts and installing fasteners
- Preserving components, e.g. threaded connections
- Completing work orders in accordance with deadlines
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as aircraft mechanic, avionic technician, process mechanic for coating technology or in a metalworking profession
- Long-standing professional experience in manufacturing / production, aircraft construction and mechanics
- Experience in assembly mechanics is an advantage
- Initial knowledge of SAP
- German language skills at business fluent level (min. C1) and basic English skills (min. A1)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system and to perform overtime
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is absolutely required
