Tasks
- Assembly of complex structural components made of metal as well as equipment components (electrical/mechanical)
- Processing of CFRP components for A350 side shells
- Joining, drilling, riveting, grinding, bonding and connecting various aircraft components
- Creating precision bores according to drawing specifications
- Planning and execution of work steps in accordance with aircraft-specific assembly procedures
- Functional testing and surface protection of assembled components
- Recording of accompanying documentation and confirmation of completed work in the manufacturing/production plan
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, automotive mechanic or in a metalworking profession
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production, mechanics or structural assembly in the aerospace sector
- Knowledge of aircraft equipment installation and aircraft structural assembly is desirable
- Confident handling of technical drawings, including older documentation, as well as familiarity with joining techniques
- Initial experience with MS Office
- German language skills at business fluent level (min. C1) and basic English skills (min. A2)
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
