Responsibilities
- Manufacturing and assembly of riveted joints and assemblies on structural components according to construction documents, manufacturing instructions, and drawings
- Fabrication of components in accordance with applicable aviation standards
- Work preparation: Reviewing/sorting orders and drawings, setting up the workstation, checking and preparing production tools
- Positioning and securing components for precise structural assembly
- Execution and documentation of the assembly of components and assemblies
- Application of surface protection (e.g., rivet head application, preservation of seal seams)
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, mechatronics technician, carpenter, or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production as well as in structural assembly
- Advanced German (min. B2); basic knowledge of English
- Willingness to complete a pre-qualification program
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and on weekends
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
