Responsibilities


  • Standard documentation for flight hardware on satellites with a focus on electrical harness integration and alignment in a digital environment (DDMS)
  • Standard times for harness integration and alignment of flight hardware, including estimation and planning
  • Risk assessment and leading Process FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • Process flows for electrical harness integration and alignment documentation, considering internal and external requirements
  • Feedback from the production team, implementing it for continuous improvement in processes and documentation
  • Technical support for the production team in problem-solving and supervision of subcontractors
  • NRB participation (Non-Conformance Review Boards) for root cause analysis and solution finding
  • International cooperation with other Airbus sites and European subcontractors


Qualifications

  • Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in harness integration and alignment, ideally in the space sector
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and integration standards in the aerospace industry
  • Proficient use of SAP (in-depth application knowledge) and experience with CAD software (DDMS, CATIA) is an advantage
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Experience in measurement technology (mechanical/electrical) and with alignment equipment (Laser Tracker, Theodolites)
  • Teamwork skills, structured and solution-oriented working methods, and a high awareness of quality
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
