Responsibilities


  • Mechanical assembly and integration of satellites, subsystems, and mechanical components
  • Precision mechanical processing and preparation of components and surfaces
  • Professional bonding work using specified adhesives
  • Create, maintain, and document integration and test protocols
  • Conduct first-level quality inspections independently
  • Support test preparation for integration, qualification, and acceptance tests
  • Actively participate in test campaigns for mechanical and thermal verification


Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, or comparable qualification (at least certified technician / business administrator)
  • Several years of professional experience in precision mechanics, industrial mechanics, or design
  • Experience in aerospace and with development projects
  • Knowledge in preparing and conducting mechanical and thermal environmental tests
  • Basic knowledge of plastic processing and bonding techniques
  • Good German skills (at least proficient); business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and an independent, structured way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
