Tasks

  • Installing aircraft engines (pylon to engine), including mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components
  • Mounting nacelle components such as thrust reversers, fan cowls and air intakes
  • Measuring and documenting step & gap dimensions and adjusting them when tolerances are exceeded
  • Working according to technical drawings and job orders
  • Recording all work steps and processes
  • Preparing engine mounts for customer acceptance

Qualifications

  • Completed training as an Aircraft Mechanic (specializing in engine technology), Industrial Mechanic or Automotive Mechatronics Technician with master qualification
  • Extensive experience in mechanical work, with at least 1 year in the aviation sector
  • Confident in aircraft assembly and interpreting technical drawings
  • German at negotiation level (min. C1), English at advanced level (min. B2)
  • Willingness to work in 2- to 3-shift operations
  • Valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
