We are currently looking for a dedicated Assembly Worker Aircraft Manufacturing for our client Diehl Aviation Hamburg GmbH at their Hamburg Finkenwerder site. Tasks
- Cutting sheet metal and profiles with guillotine shears, chop saws, and table saws
- Manufacturing components on punching, drilling, and milling machines
- Performing minor assembly work such as riveting, screwing, or gluing
- Processing aluminum profiles, e.g., by bending or grinding
- Manufacturing individual parts and assemblies according to specifications
Qualifications
- Completed training as a metalworker / bodywork technician / toolmaker / production mechanic or similar
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing and production as well as in the aerospace industry
- Experience in assembly and working with aluminum profiles
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP system applications in manufacturing
- High sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, and organizational skills
- Willingness to work shifts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
