The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 73,555 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2027. Responsibilities


  • System development for mobile COMINT platforms for the reconnaissance and jamming of adversary communications
  • System conception and realization for the acquisition, analysis, evaluation, and jamming of communication signals
  • Requirements analysis and model-based creation of system architectures (MBSE), including interface definition
  • System specification and derivation of hardware/software requirements as well as component selection
  • System design and optimization of overall systems (antennas, receivers, direction-finding systems) through simulation
  • Test planning and execution of laboratory, field, and acceptance tests
  • Study work for future Electronic Warfare systems with a focus on Electronic Attack (EA) and Electronic Support (ES)


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of practical experience in communications and signal technology for radio systems, preferably in an Electronic Warfare environment
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, system modeling according to the V-Model, and proven responsibility for complex systems or teams
  • Experience in requirements management throughout the entire project cycle – from the bid phase to acceptance
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Strong UX understanding and the ability to combine technical design and user experience
  • High level of teamwork, strong communication skills, and a high sense of responsibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
