Tasks
- Preparation, execution, and documentation of material tests on organic and metallic materials (for civil and military aviation parts)
- Operation of testing and analysis equipment and evaluation of measurement results
- Working in accordance with standards, production orders, and quality guidelines with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Ensuring compliance with delivery and aviation regulations
- Testing and optimizing test procedures as part of the continuous improvement process (CIP)
- Technical exchange with related departments and active collaboration within the team
Qualifications
- Completed training as an industrial mechanic or process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology with further training as a technician or master craftsman
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing, aviation, and quality management
- In-depth knowledge of materials testing (composites and metals)
- Business fluent in German (at least C1), advanced English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
