Tasks
- Assembling simple aircraft assemblies and components using tools and fixtures
- Checking parts and materials for correctness, completeness, and suitability in accordance with the production plan
- Preparing the workplace, including setting up measuring instruments and assembly fixtures
- Eliminating simple malfunctions in the assembly process and passing on information to management
- Documenting the work steps in the production plan with a worker stamp
- Identifying and rectifying assembly defects, e.g., incorrect parts, tolerance deviations
- Ensuring a clean working environment through maintenance and cleaning work
- Reporting and assisting in the elimination of weak points in the workflow
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training, ideally in a technical or manual field (e.g., as an aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, mechatronics engineer, or electronics technician)
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production
- Experience in mechanics is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and basic knowledge of English (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
