For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for a Aviation Quality Assurance Engineer at the Ulm site. In a highly specialized environment for Electronic Warfare, Avionics, and Radar programs, you ensure that processes are applied in a risk-minimized and efficient manner throughout the entire product life cycle – from development to customer service.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 73,555 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2027. Responsibilities
- Quality Engineer in project teams: independent work and reporting
- Process compliance: ensure adherence to contractual requirements and project-relevant tasks
- Quality tasks: plan and execute throughout the entire product life cycle, focus on customer service
- Customer and supplier contact as point of contact for project-related quality topics
- Product conformity: confirm compliance with legal regulations and contractual requirements
- Project goals: achieve performance, time, and cost targets in a risk-minimized manner
- Test planning, verification and validation as well as certification of systems, sub-systems, and equipment
Qualifications
- Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification
- Many years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in quality management and/or development, ideally in the civil or military sector
- Experience and in-depth knowledge in electronics, hardware, and system development; knowledge in software development is advantageous
- Knowledge of risk and requirements management
- German business fluent (at least C1); English business fluent (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel on business trips (including abroad)
- Communication skills, assertiveness, consensus-building ability, initiative, independence, leadership qualities, and teamwork
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
