As a Career Changer / Warehouse Logistics Specialist for Goods Receipt & Shipping at the Hamburg site, you will take on important tasks to ensure that logistics processes run smoothly. Whether it's goods receipt, shipping, or data maintenance, you will ensure that everything arrives where it belongs. No forklift trucks, but plenty of responsibility. Tasks
- Checking incoming goods for damage and checking packing lists and serial numbers
- Goods receipt postings (including customs) and labeling in SAP and warehouse IT systems
- Packing and unpacking components and materials for shipping according to orders
- Unloading and loading trucks, handling delivery notes, and providing containers
- Data entry and maintenance in the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Processing customs documents and communicating with the relevant authorities
- Quality assurance for overdeliveries, underdeliveries, or incorrect deliveries
- On-site contact person in case of irregularities in the process
Qualifications
- Completed training as a warehouse logistics specialist/warehouse management specialist is an advantage
- At least one year of professional experience in warehousing, shipping, or goods receipt
- Basic knowledge of materials management systems (e.g., SAP) and working with scanners
- Good German language skills (at least proficient / B2)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
