We are currently looking for a flexible and committed Carpenter Aircraft Cabin Interior Design for our customer Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel. Tasks

  • Manufacture and maintenance of individual cabin furniture according to technical documentation
  • High-quality carpentry work with real wood veneers, solid wood, and sandwich materials
  • Compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
  • Documentation of work steps in accordance with aviation-specific standards
  • Independent planning and organization of work processes within the scope of the work order
  • Safe and careful handling of machines, tools, and operating resources
  • Making technically sound decisions for timely and economical implementation

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a carpenter or in a comparable field
  • Many years of professional experience in high-quality interior design, ideally in the aviation sector
  • Knowledge of aviation-specific regulations as well as UVV and environmental protection requirements
  • Basic knowledge of the use of IT systems
  • Advanced German language skills (at least B2) and basic English language skills (at least A1)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift model and to undertake job-related further training
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
