We are currently looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager for our client Airbus Operations GmbH at their Hamburg Finkenwerder site. In this role, you will take responsibility for complex construction projects in an industrial environment, drive the ramp-up of rates in the single-aisle end line, and travel internationally. Tasks
- Responsibility for project goals (time, costs, quality) in the field of construction management in an industrial context
- Management and coordination of project teams, including cross-functional matrix organizations
- Construction and project management of industrial plants, infrastructure projects, and buildings
- Cost planning and control across all project phases
- Managing approval processes and ensuring communication with authorities
- Analyzing and managing risks and opportunities
- Coordinating partners and suppliers
- Involving international project stakeholders and regular business trips
Qualifications
- Degree in civil engineering, construction project management, industrial engineering or similar
- Several years of professional experience in project management, particularly in agile methods
- Experience in project and construction management for industrial plants, industrial infrastructure and industrial buildings
- Knowledge of building construction and building technology as well as coordination of renovation projects
- Airbus experience is an advantage
- Confident use of MS Office, SAP and Google Workspace
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 8 times a year for one week)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
