For our client Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services GmbH in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel, we are looking for a CNC Carpenter for Aircraft Cabin Furniture. In a specialized environment, you will manufacture and maintain custom aircraft cabin furniture for VIP and special missions – using state-of-the-art CNC technology and traditional carpentry craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • CNC manufacturing using HOMAG wood WOP for high-precision woodworking
  • Cabin furniture production and maintenance for VIP and special mission aircraft according to technical documentation
  • Carpentry work with real wood veneers, solid wood, and sandwich materials, including documentation
  • Process compliance of all activities in accordance with relevant specifications
  • Decision-making for technically sound, timely, and cost-effective execution of assigned tasks
  • Equipment management for proper use and careful handling of machines and tools


Qualifications

  • Completed apprenticeship as a furniture carpenter
  • Relevant specialist knowledge and professional experience as a furniture carpenter in high-quality interior fittings (aviation experience desirable)
  • Very good CNC knowledge with HOMAG wood WOP
  • Good knowledge of industry-specific regulations, accident prevention regulations, and environmental protection regulations
  • Basic knowledge in the use of IT systems
  • English language skills in spoken and written form (Level B)
  • Independent working style, initiative, teamwork, high resilience, and flexibility
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
