Responsibilities
- Collaboration in international project teams and coordination of subcontractors and customers in the context of configuration management
- Definition and coordination of internal and external configuration management interfaces, particularly in the context of creating CM plans (German / English)
- Ensuring the application of the configuration process throughout the project and product lifecycle
- Implementing internal and external change management, including initial approvals in Change Control Boards and Release Boards
- Creating product structures (identifying configuration units and mapping them in KM tools)
- Establishing baselines and construction status records, as well as creating evaluations, status reports, and other reporting
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the further development of CM guidelines and project standards
Qualifications
- Completed degree, e.g., in Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification (minimum Bachelor’s degree)
- Several years of professional experience in project management and configuration management, including common CM standards (ISO 10007, EIA-649)
- Experience in implementing or introducing configuration management guidelines in projects
- Detailed specialized knowledge of SAP as well as Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP Product Lifecycle Management and Serena Business Manager / Dimensions is desirable
- Willingness to give presentations to international clients and partners as part of projects
- Business-level proficiency in German and English (min. C1)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
