Responsibilities
- Security Architecture: Take responsibility for and design the security architecture for aircraft onboard information systems
- Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the aircraft's security risk level
- Development Projects: Support development projects in close coordination with chief engineering and software development
- Security Requirements: Define, implement, and consolidate all security-related requirements
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise directly with airlines and airworthiness authorities
- Project Management: Oversee all security-related aspects within development projects
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer or in Engineering
- Many years of experience in IT/Information Systems, ideally in the aerospace industry
- Specialization in Cyber Security is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of Risk Management; knowledge of industry-specific security standards such as ED-202A/ED-203A is a plus
- Proficient use of Google Workspace
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel (1-2 times per quarter, mainly in Europe)
- Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
