At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will take on the role of a Design Engineer Cable Integration, responsible for cable length planning and cable integration in the specialized area of seat-to-seat wiring. From developing technical solutions and designing in 2D and 3D to the timely release of construction documents, you work at the interface between customer-specific system design and production-ready implementation.

Responsibilities


  • Cable integration in the seat-to-seat area: define cable lengths and integrate cables into the cabin
  • Technical solutions for electrical system installations: review, develop, and design
  • Construction documentation: create according to the ATA92 framework and ensure its review and validation
  • Schedule and quality planning: coordinate delivery within the end-to-end customization process
  • Design of technical solutions in 2D and 3D
  • Process optimization: continuously improve workflows and contribute to improvement projects


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed university degree (minimum Bachelor's) in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction as well as project management
  • Experience in Electrical System Installation (ESI)
  • Proficient use of SAP, Catia V5, PDMLink (Product Data Management System), Taksy/Gesy/Tesy as well as vpm and zamiz
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Independent, structured approach to work, strong communication skills, and team player attitude
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
