Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly and integration of satellites, subsystems, and mechanical components
- Precision mechanical processing and preparation of components and surfaces
- Professional bonding work using specified adhesives
- Create, maintain, and document integration and test protocols
- Conduct first-level quality inspections independently
- Support test preparation for integration, qualification, and acceptance tests
- Actively participate in test campaigns for mechanical and thermal verification
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, or comparable qualification (at least certified technician / business administrator)
- Several years of professional experience in precision mechanics, industrial mechanics, or design
- Experience in aerospace and with development projects
- Knowledge in preparing and conducting mechanical and thermal environmental tests
- Basic knowledge of plastic processing and bonding techniques
- Good German skills (at least proficient); business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel
- Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and an independent, structured way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
