Tasks

  • Integration of mechanical components, cable harnesses and assemblies based on technical drawings and work orders
  • Independent assembly, inspection and handover to quality assurance
  • Documentation of work steps in SAP, including troubleshooting if needed
  • Carrying out repairs according to repair orders
  • Support for technical assessments and contribution to continuous improvement activities
  • Inspection of work before, during and after integration
  • Collaboration within the team and coordination with the team leader

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder, mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification in the metal or electrical sector, ideally with aerospace experience
  • Extensive professional experience in aircraft construction and in quality assurance
  • Several years of experience in integrating aerospace devices is an advantage
  • Advanced skills in SAP and confident use of MS Office
  • Fluent German skills (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts and to travel occasionally
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
