For our client Diehl Aviation Laupheim GmbH, we are looking for a Aviation Industry Painter at the Hamburg site. In a highly specialized environment, you are responsible for the perfect surface treatment of CFRP, plastic, and metal components – where every detail counts.

Responsibilities


  • Surface preparation: Perform filling and sanding work on CFRP, plastic, and metal components to create paintable surfaces
  • Quality responsibility: Ensure timely processing and surface quality of cabin assembly groups
  • Production control: Control and monitor production processes, including documentation according to manufacturing orders
  • Material management: Manage materials, operating and consumable supplies, and monitor equipment and tool inventory
  • Interface management: Adhere to and implement quality, cost, and schedule requirements from internal interfaces


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a painter and varnisher or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience as a painter, ideally as a vehicle or aircraft painter
  • Experience in handling spray guns, mixing sticks, mixing cups, and in technical documentation
  • Proficient use of MS Office and SAP
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); basic English skills (at least A2)
  • Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts) and possibly on-call duty on weekends
  • High sense of responsibility, teamwork skills, structured and results-oriented way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
