Responsibilities


  • Requirements analysis for military and civil Flight Management Systems (FMS) and flight guidance functions
  • System design and development of FMS functions and flight guidance functions
  • Trajectory generation as well as design and development of formation flying and swarming functions
  • Verification & Validation: Specification and management of activities
  • System development for manned aircraft and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)
  • Process support from conception to implementation


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable subject (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in aerospace and IT/information systems
  • Solid experience with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)
  • Experience with the programming languages Python or C++ is mandatory
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are an advantage
  • Team player, high degree of motivation and willingness to work in an international team
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
