Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis for military and civil Flight Management Systems (FMS) and flight guidance functions
- System design and development of FMS functions and flight guidance functions
- Trajectory generation as well as design and development of formation flying and swarming functions
- Verification & Validation: Specification and management of activities
- System development for manned aircraft and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)
- Process support from conception to implementation
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Aerospace Engineering or a comparable subject (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in aerospace and IT/information systems
- Solid experience with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) or Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)
- Experience with the programming languages Python or C++ is mandatory
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are an advantage
- Team player, high degree of motivation and willingness to work in an international team
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
