Tasks
- Contribute to the industrial system design of Airbus final assembly lines for current and future programs
- Support industrialization projects with expertise in manufacturing line design
- Evaluate and further develop industrial solutions and derive concrete recommendations for action
- Use digital tools and simulation methods to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes
- Develop standards and methods for manufacturing line design to achieve strategic production goals
- Collaborate closely with final assembly lines (SA, WB, A220) and interdisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in automotive engineering, general engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or industrial engineering
- Extensive professional experience in manufacturing engineering and several years of experience in the areas of process optimization, engineering, and jigs & tools required; initial experience in the simulation of manufacturing processes is an advantage
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in lean management and continuous improvement (CIP)
- Basic user knowledge of SAP and Catia V5 as well as confident handling of Google Workspace
- Business-fluent English skills (at least C1), German skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (approx. once per quarter)
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visa not sufficient) is mandatory
