Tasks
- Analysis of electrical and electromechanical requirements from specifications and derivation of technical implementations
- Maintenance and change processing of series devices and systems, including clean verification
- Development of cabling concepts and system designs for plants and devices, taking into account electromagnetic compatibility, the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies, and customer specifications
- Design of electrical connection components, wiring assemblies, and cables with a view to technical and economic feasibility
- Selection and specification of components, materials, and manufacturing processes, including coordination with interfaces
- Creation and maintenance of development documentation such as circuit diagrams, drawings, overviews, parts lists, and delivery specifications
- Conducting technical reviews, checking drawing sets, and deriving measures
- Support in the manufacture and integration of prototypes and series devices, as well as input for cost and schedule estimation
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification (at least a bachelor's degree)
- Many years of experience in the development and electrical design of mechatronic equipment, devices, and systems in the described environment
- Very good knowledge of design, technology, and process standards as well as national/international standards and regulations (including MIL and the Association for Electrical Engineering)
- Good knowledge of SAP and E-CAD tools, for example ZUKEN, Mentor CHS, or EPLAN (key user experience required)
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); proficient in English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
