On behalf of our client Diehl Aerospace GmbH, we are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer Measuring Technology Aviation Systems at their Nuremberg location. In this role, you will actively shape the further development and support of highly complex test systems for the aviation industry – from the prototype phase to series production. Tasks
- Modification, maintenance, and servicing of existing test systems
- Support for manufacturing and acceptance processes at external suppliers
- Technical contact person for all aspects of system support
- Further development of test systems in prototype and series processes
- Participation in the standardization of cross-location test systems (hardware & software)
- Performing and optimizing MSA analyses
- Ensuring smooth operation of test systems and providing support with calibrations
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, communications engineering, measurement technology or automation technology
- Professional experience in automation, test equipment construction and system support
- Knowledge of optical measurement systems, database systems, automation and object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of National Instruments tools such as PXI, LabVIEW and TestStand
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
