For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer / Systems Engineer for Fighter Radar at the Ulm site. In a highly specialized environment, you will develop system concepts for modern airborne radar systems and contribute to the technological advancement of platforms such as the Eurofighter.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 78,451 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.07.2027. Responsibilities


  • System Conception: Generate radar system concepts and functional system designs for airborne platforms
  • MBSE Analyses: Apply model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods for analyses and designs
  • Modelling & Simulation: Model and simulate system behaviour and estimate relevant functional system parameters
  • Validation: Support the validation of LRI and system designs
  • Requirements Management: Perform requirements engineering for complex radar systems
  • Documentation: Create and maintain system documentation
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal specialist departments as well as national and international partners and customers


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in requirements engineering and systems engineering
  • Practical experience with model-based development methods (MBSE), e.g. Rhapsody
  • Knowledge in the design and modelling of complex (radar) systems is desirable
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English
  • High communication skills, independent working style, team orientation and interdisciplinary thinking
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
