Responsibilities
- Software Architecture: Design, implement, integrate, and test safety-critical platform software in C
- Low-Level Development: Adapt Board Support Packages (BSP) and perform hardware-software integration
- Real-Time Operating Systems: Configure, develop, and optimize RTOS such as ARINC 653 for multi-core environments
- Certification Documentation: Create lifecycle artifacts (PSAC, SDP, SVP) and ensure requirement traceability
- Integration Testing: Define and execute end-to-end test scenarios for multisystem integration test RIGs
- Agile Development: Drive software development for safety-critical aviation systems within an agile team
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in embedded software development
- Proven expertise with safety-critical standards (e.g., DO-178C), Real-Time Operating Systems (e.g., ARINC 653), and Integrated Modular Avionics (e.g., DO-297)
- Deep knowledge of low-level development, certification processes, and tools such as Lauterbach Trace, Rulechecker, DOORS and Python
- Business fluent English (at least C1)
- Resume in English language required
- Strong communication skills, high analytical competence and a structured, documentation-oriented working method
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
