At Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, you will take on the role of Engineer as Project Manager, responsible for the holistic planning and control of production relocations and equipment procurement. You will optimize factory layouts according to Lean principles and coordinate all interfaces – from production to procurement.

Responsibilities


  • Project management for production relocations and machine transfers – from planning to implementation while adhering to budget, time, and quality
  • Risk and change management with early identification of project risks and development of mitigation plans
  • Layout planning and optimization of factory and material flow layouts according to Lean Production principles
  • Space and capacity planning for optimal utilization and future-proof scalability
  • Equipment procurement including technical specification (requirements specification) in coordination with production and procurement
  • Supplier management from tendering and awarding contracts to acceptance and handover to operations
  • Interface coordination between production, logistics, facility management, procurement, occupational safety, and external partners
  • Reporting of project status to management and steering committees


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in engineering, aerospace, or industrial engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Many years of professional experience in manufacturing, production planning, logistics, and project management
  • Several years of experience in factory planning, production relocations, or equipment procurement and commissioning
  • Proficient use of MS Office, SAP, and Catia V5
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (certification an advantage) and Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen)
  • Teamwork skills, strong communication, and a structured, solution-oriented approach
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
