Tasks
- Management of civil and military certification projects, including project planning, reporting and risk management
- Definition of the certification basis and the requirements baseline for new or modified helicopters
- Development and alignment of the certification strategy with internal and external stakeholders
- Preparation and coordination of compliance demonstration programs with engineering departments, the chief engineer, and relevant authorities
- Review and validation of compliance documents with regard to regulatory conformity, completeness, and consistency
- Communication and coordination with aviation authorities on all certification-related topics
- Utilization of the Airbus Airworthiness network to achieve certification objectives
- Coordination of activities to obtain flight clearance for prototypes and test aircraft
Qualifications
- Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in engineering and development
- Experience in the certification and development of aircraft and/or helicopter systems
- Know-how in project management, especially transnational projects, desirable
- Confident use of Google Workspace
- Business fluent English (at least C1), German and French skills desirable
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
