For our client Lufthansa Technik AG, we are looking for a Engineer / Maintenance Product Manager at the Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel site. In this central role, you will take on technical responsibility for a specific component spectrum and develop maintenance solutions from conception to implementation.

Responsibilities


  • Product responsibility for a defined component spectrum (Nacelles, Airframe Related Components)
  • Maintenance documentation independently create, release, and continuously develop
  • Technical coordination between production, administration, customers, and management
  • Fault analysis and initiation of targeted corrective measures
  • Process optimization in the maintenance area identify and implement
  • Project work and management of sub-projects in a technical environment
  • Know-how exchange with other business units of the corporation actively shape


Qualifications

  • Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in engineering, preferably in aircraft construction, aerospace engineering, or mechanical engineering
  • Several years of experience in aircraft or equipment maintenance
  • Knowledge of aviation legislation as well as fiber composite and sandwich structures
  • Good IT skills, especially in 3D CAD systems (e.g., Solid Works, CATIA), MS-Office, and SAP R/3
  • Very good English skills (at least B1)
  • Teamwork skills, strong negotiation skills, and high level of initiative
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
