For our client Diehl Aviation Hamburg GmbH, we are looking for a Final Assembly Mechanic at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site. In a highly specialized environment, you will take on assembly tasks for complex components, directly contributing to the manufacturing of aviation parts.

Responsibilities


  • Component preparation and assembly of simple to complex modules and components
  • Complex assembly work planned and executed according to technical construction documents
  • Ensure quality-conscious work with both unpainted and painted parts
  • Teamwork and mutual support in tackling task assignments
  • Communication of information clearly and understandably for smooth workflow


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a boatbuilder, mechanic, carpenter, production mechanic (m/f/x), precision mechanic (m/f/x) or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in precision mechanics, manufacturing/production, or general mechanics
  • Experience in handling and reading technical drawings and construction documents
  • Initial application knowledge of MS-Office and SAP; good PC skills
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); basic English skills (at least A2)
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Teamwork, communication skills, and high quality awareness
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
