Tasks
- Responsible for the transport management of oversize components, including planning, execution and monitoring of all transport activities
- Ensuring the performance of external transport service providers and implementing improvement measures
- Monitoring relevant KPIs with regard to performance, cost, quality and environmental impact
- Ensuring compliance with Airbus internal processes and guidelines within the transport environment
- Driving issue resolution through clearly defined escalation and communication processes
- Responsible for technical negotiations with service providers regarding prices, capacities and forecasts
- Acting as the interface to authorities concerning airworthiness, hazardous goods and export control
- Managing contracts and coordinating subcontractor activities
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding agent or a degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation or business administration
- Several years of professional experience in transport management, supplier management, supply chain and logistics
- Ideally, experience in dealing with external service providers and regulatory authorities
- Good knowledge of Google Workspace
- Very good German and English skills (min. C1); French is an advantage
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
