Tasks
- Operating CNC lathes and turning/milling centers
- Manufacturing complex engine and equipment components for the aerospace industry (including large components with a diameter of up to 800 mm)
- Setting up and measuring tools and components
- Running in and validating new NC programs
- Component inspection based on the dual control principle and worker self-inspection
- Documentation, labeling and packaging for internal transport
- Support for improvement processes and new developments in the manufacturing area
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a lathe operator/milling machine operator in a metalworking profession or comparable qualification
- Very good knowledge of the Siemens 840SL control system
- Knowledge of the WFL M80 machine type
- Practical experience in the machining of Inconel, Monell nickel, aluminum alloysn and titanium
- Knowledge of the TDM tool management system
- In-depth application experience in MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
