The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,553 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2027. Responsibilities
- Technical operational responsibility for the entire network infrastructure in Germany according to ITIL standards
- Provider management of IT service providers according to contractual KPIs and SLAs
- Project cooperation with other IT departments during the implementation of new network-based solutions
- Cost planning and control for the network infrastructure including continuous development
- Root cause analysis and technical support during disruptions
- Authorization management for the highest administrative access rights within the area of responsibility
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in IT, particularly in operating IT infrastructure solutions or as an IT project manager for network infrastructures
- In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Network Access Control, Firewall, Proxy, Layer-2 & 3 Encryption
- Experience with Cisco ISE, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Broadcom (Bluecoat/Symantec), Genua GenuScreen, ADVA, or Rohde & Schwarz is advantageous; relevant certifications are desirable
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Analytical mindset, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
