Responsibilities
- Operational responsibility for storage and backup products in Germany according to ITIL principles
- Administration of storage and backup infrastructure according to defined KPIs and SLAs
- Planning and development of new infrastructure solutions in the storage & backup area
- Cost planning and control for your own area of responsibility
- Root cause analysis and technical support for disruptions and problems
- Highest administrative tasks in your own area of responsibility
Qualifications
- Completed master's or diploma degree in computer science or a comparable subject
- Several years of professional experience (over 5 years) in IT / information systems
- Practical experience with storage and backup solutions is mandatory
- Experience with products such as NetApp, VEEAM, NetBackup, Commvault, Data Protector or Data Domain
- Knowledge of storage technologies (Block/File/Object/SyncMirror) and backup (Virtual/Disk/Tape)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- ITIL knowledge and product certifications (e.g., NCDA, NCSIE) are advantageous
- Experience in the field of automation (e.g., Ansible) is desirable
- Good communication skills, high level of initiative, and analytical thinking
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
