Tasks
- Loading, clamping and aligning of workpieces in machines as well as monitoring and adjusting workflows
- Troubleshooting including root cause analysis and documentation in failure reports
- Changing and adjusting tools as well as preparing required materials, clamping devices and tools
- Independent setup of machines for both single-part and series production
- Setting process parameters such as zero points and tool corrections
- Quality inspection with regard to dimensional accuracy and surface condition including documentation of measurement results
- Performing maintenance and cleaning tasks according to schedule
- Manufacturing and repairing production equipment using standard machining processes such as drilling, milling and turning
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a metal worker, automotive body builder, cutting machine operator or in a comparable metalworking profession
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical manufacturing, especially as a machine and plant operator
- Very good German language skills (at least C1)
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Strong team orientation as well as a high level of initiative, sense of responsibility and resilience
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
