Tasks

  • Loading, clamping and aligning of workpieces in machines as well as monitoring and adjusting workflows
  • Troubleshooting including root cause analysis and documentation in failure reports
  • Changing and adjusting tools as well as preparing required materials, clamping devices and tools
  • Independent setup of machines for both single-part and series production
  • Setting process parameters such as zero points and tool corrections
  • Quality inspection with regard to dimensional accuracy and surface condition including documentation of measurement results
  • Performing maintenance and cleaning tasks according to schedule
  • Manufacturing and repairing production equipment using standard machining processes such as drilling, milling and turning

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a metal worker, automotive body builder, cutting machine operator or in a comparable metalworking profession
  • Several years of professional experience in mechanical manufacturing, especially as a machine and plant operator
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1)
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Strong team orientation as well as a high level of initiative, sense of responsibility and resilience
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
