At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Manufacturing Engineer to steer the industrial implementation of manufacturing processes for the A320 family. You define build processes, optimize technical sequences, and drive manufacturing readiness from first installation to series handover. Your work forms the interface between design and production, ensuring industrial requirements are considered from the outset.

Responsibilities
- Process definition for Manufacturing Engineering in the Basis Electric area for the A320 Final Assembly Line (FAL)
- Time calculation at operation level for manufacturing processes
- Implement Collaborative Design to Manufacturing (Co-Design and Co-Indus) in all project phases to consider industrial needs
- Manage and optimize technical sequencing for assembly processes
- Specify requirements for industrial assets such as jigs, tools, and machines
- Drive the first installation of new processes and equipment with required shop floor feedback loops for manufacturing readiness
- Ensure production handover by actively driving manufacturing readiness
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering or comparable qualification as a state-certified technician / technical business manager
- Several years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Initial experience in aircraft construction and interface management
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP, Catia V5, Java, Python, and SQL
- Good knowledge of process management; knowledge of data analysis is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French language skills are an advantage
- CV in English required
- Analytical mindset, structured and independent way of working, and strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
