We are looking for a dynamic full-time Manufacturing Engineer in the StructuralAssembly department for our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH at their Donauwörth site. In this position, you will be responsible for the efficient planning, supervision, and continuous improvement of production processes in structure assembly—with a focus on innovation, data consistency, and industrial excellence. Tasks

  • Creating and updating work plans, bills of materials, and SOIs, taking into account manufacturing requirements and time calculations
  • Defining requirements for industrial assets such as tools and machines
  • Planning and conducting regular feedback loops with the production team
  • Processing and solving work preparation problems escalated from the shop floor
  • Communicating directly with production teams by actively participating in on-site routines
  • Leading sub-projects for the continuous improvement of structural assembly processes
  • Ensuring data consistency in supply chain management (e.g., missing parts, inventories)
  • Integrating innovations and big data applications into assembly processes

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in aerospace, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in work preparation, scheduling/material procurement, engineering and IT/information systems
  • Several years of experience in project management, quality management and technical documentation
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
